- The Radar Key allows people with disabilities to gain access to toilets for the disabled. It can be purchased by anyone with a disability and offers access to around 9,000 locked public toilets around the country.
- These toilets are usually kept locked to stop misuse and damage. The National Key Scheme offers disabled people independent access to these toilets by using a special Radar Key.
- It is so called because Disability Rights UK was previously called the Royal Association for Disability Rights. Crucially, the keys are wide and easy to grip and turn.
