Voice Alarm Monitor is a tried and trusted way of indicating whether someone has got out of a bed or chair and might be at risk of a fall. A sensor mat - not included - connected to a bed or chair detects whether a person has risen and the alarm is triggered. Record your own voice alarm message which will play repeatedly until the reset button is pressed. An optional extended alarm delay function provides a 15-minute alarm delay to prevent false alarms. If the user returns to a bed or chair within this time the alarm is cancelled but the alarm is sounded if that is not the case. This function is useful for people who regularly visit the bathroom during the night and prevents carer from receiving an alarm unnecessarily. Alternatively, door contacts can also be connected instead of a sensor mat to provide an alarm when a door is opened. The Voice Alarm Monitor is battery operated with a low battery indicator featuring three levels of volume settings...silent, medium or high.
The Voice Alarm Monitor requires 1 X AAA batteries (not included). It includes a wall bracket and can be connected to an optional wireless pager. It now incorporates a wireless transmitter for use with NR-M99771.
